@SwissSteph,
Do you know how to disable the front park sensors only? I see that there are four different configurations, but I am not sure what is the difference between them:

Set ParkSense: This setting is to change or disable ParkSense system.
Choices are as follows:
0: None
1: Sahara
2: Rubicon

I am guessing with 0 you can disable both front and rear, but how do you just disable the front ones?

By putting an old firmware (11.1.4 or older) there are options "3" and "4". Then make the change, then put the last firmware.
There is a message seen on a german forum where it is explained this "problem" where Z-Automotive had to remove these parameters "3 and 4" for a question of "license" (or whatever).

old firmware = 0: None, 1: Sahara, 2: Rubicon, 3: Export Rear, 4: Export Front+Rear

I hope to have ;)

I’m kind of curious why the European spec’d wrangler has no panic button. Is it because of some law?

No idea, it's just bullshit. And in Europe (at least in my country) it's impossible to choose manual or automatic gearbox, it's imposed in automatic.

Indeed. Here in Belgium you can’t do anything with your vehicle. Everything is against the law 🤦🏻‍♂️.

I believe cars in the US mandate this feature, while the EU does not. Same for rear seat belt detection. In the EU, it's required, but not in the US. Hence, we have it, you do not.
It comes down only to cost.

It was bound to happen. The EU was treated as a dumping ground for all our worst and most vile politicians for decades. Those same vile politicians spend the proceeding decades breaking everything. Now, we have the mega bureaucratic hell-scape we have now.

You can't get RHD manual due to the engine offset to that side and can't fit a clutch pedal. Can't even fit a dead pedal for auto.
