Hi. I ordered from you Tazer mini And front camera for my 2020 JL rubicon 3.0L diesel. I received it today and went ahead with installation. Camera in went no problem but Tazer is a different story. Connectors of my Jeep do not fit your Tazer mini. What is the problem. I specified my vehicle as 2020 JL Rubicon with 3.0L diesel engine On my order. What do I do now?

Stranger, numerous members have installed Tazer in their 3.0.

Can you post a photo of the connectors on your JL? What do they look like?

Never mind. I was messing with wrong connectors. These suckers are much higher and hard to see. I called Northridge 4x4 since they are selling Tazer and asked sales guy if they sold any to 2020 diesel Jeep owners. He told me that Tazer mini does not work with diesel. Go figure. Anyway thanks for effort to help.

Well...This my experience and I have the Mini in my diesel.

It kind'a works but is not really ready for primetime. Almost everything does what it is supposed to do, but there a couple of features lacking.

1.) No winch mode, just does not work
2.) No cooldown mode, same thing...just does not work
3.) ParkSense. One must shift the vehicle from drive to neutral and back to drive at least once before it works. If you jump in, start and shift to drive and open the door, it throws it into park and about rips out the transmission stopping the rig.

And my biggest complaint...

4.) Sway bar disconnect. Using the OEM push button, ya gott'a hit it about 5 times before it will release the sway bar and pushing it again it will not reconnect. Ya gott'a shut off the engine and restart to reconnect the bar.

It works better as a HotKey, but I was disconnecting the swaybar every time I turned around by accidently hitting the HotKey button. Big PITA on the road... I didn't like it mapped to a HotKey...

There might be other issues but these are the ones I'm sure of.
I Emailed Z-Automotive and mentioned the shortcoming of the Mini in the diesel and they said they need a diesel in the shop to experiment with. That was a while back. I hit them up again a few days ago and have not heard back. I'm not holding out much hope for a fast fix, very unfortunate.

I REALLY hope they get this worked out one way or the other because when things do not work as advertised it leave a bad taste. Hell, remove the feature if you cannot get it to work or it's too wonky.

Everyone complains about being BETA testers for FCA/Jeep, well here we are with Z-Automotive.

I would not purchase it again...at least at this point.

Thank you @Plongson for the detailed feedback! I know I'll need a programmer sooner than later, but it does seem like no one has spent enough time with a diesel. I guess same with suspensions and all the other farkle.
