Mine seems to be working fine so far. Just did the update yesterday. I've tried the winch mode a couple times, and it worked to engage and disengage by pushing the buttons. Haven't noticed the cool down tho. Do you have to set it in the menu or is it automatic?

Test COOLDOWN mode. Does it work while running down the road or only while sitting in PARK??

I requested COOLDOWN (high fan mode from "Z") be activated while driving (ie. pulling a grade with a trailer), but if that does not work, the Tazer is is not worth the risk of voiding my warranty.

The engine heat issue with the diesel pulling a grade is very worrisome and the high fan mode would reduce this problem.

Until this can be resolved, my Tazer is still in a drawer.

Sorry for the poor review, not that "Z" responds or reacts to our issues anyway. Kind'a like contacting the an arm of the government...no one really gives a crap. A bit of feedback would go a long way toward customer relations "Z"...

If a requested feature cannot be programed into the Tazer, LET US KNOW!! Then we'll just move on, don't let us just hang waiting and wondering.

Is there another thread where I can read up more about the winch mode? I did the update proactively but haven't installed it yet.

Finally got around to installing the update. Winch mode worked perfectly, cooldown worked but only while stopped, fan went to normal when I started to accelerate. We don't have big hills in Texas so I probably won't ever use cooldown mode.

Mine does not. Gotta push the button again to cancel.

Worked just fine for me. I also like the addition of the third light pulsing. Slick.
