Possibly the most important feature yet...I've been hitting up Z-Automotive for the cooldown mode to function while running since acquiring my Tazer. If anyone is paying attention, you know these diesels run HOT! and it doesn't take much to drive up the coolant temp even more...up into VERY unwanted temperature ranges.

With the release of the latest beta version, COOLDOWN now works while RUNNING!! What this means is (from what I've found) running the fan on high will drop the coolant 20°f in just seconds! So if you are pulling a grade hard and heavy or even crawling up a trail, you have better control over the engine coolant temps.

This ONE FEATURE, in my opinion, make the Tazer-JL worth the purchase price.

Guess I'll have to pull it and do an update. Which brings me to this. Do you have to unmarry it to do an update or can you leave it married and just remove it from the Jeep then reinstall?

Couldn't tell ya...I've wondered the same thing myself. I "unmarry" but it would be nice to just update and not have to go back and reset everything.

Anyone else know??

You may want to double check, but the latest I saw from [email protected], was if you are using the programming utility on a windows computer you can leave it married. If using a MAC it needs to be unmarried due to some issues with the drivers used on the MAC's.
