It will retain tpms, tire size, and a few other things. ESS is a live feature and you have to keep it plugged in. It’s all in the manual.

actually it doesn't come with any instructions it's online but that's what I figured I'll just leave it plugged in that's the only two things I wanted anyway but thanks
