Once upon a time @CR90 had a YJ and life was good.



Then I found myself commuting in it, in SoCal, without AC. So I sold it. This was a mistake.

Now I am redeemed. A few weeks ago we ordered a Punk'n JLUR and hope to have it over the summer. We'll track the build in these top posts.

Ordering timeline:

• 4/13/18 deposit paid
• 4/16/18 VON# obtained, stage C
• 5/15/18 Stage D
• 5/25/18 D1. "build plan timing for the week of June 11th"
• 7/16/18 "build plan timing of your order was pushed out and is now slated to begin production this week"
• 7/31/18 Built and approved for shipment. Expected at dealer mid-August
• 8/20/18 Delivered! It did not go well at Dennis Dillon.

Rack Concepts

• Gobi can theoretically interoperate with a soft top. But that's quite an ordeal just to flip the soft top back.
• Probably we'll use the hard top with a Teraflex Nobo (if they ever make one for JL) for trips, and stick with the soft top while in town.
