I’ve seen a few tan soft tops and would love to find one for my sport 2door. I’ve tried looking for them but not having much luck. Does anyone know if they are sold anywhere or does it have to be ordered with tan to get it...

Aftermarket might be the way to go, JT tops makes a modular tan top for the 2 door.

" SunTop" makes a modular soft top for the 2 door, available in Tan, Gray, and Black. I like the ability to have multiple configuations, as weather and mood dictate

I've been doing some digging into this. Aside from on the Black and Tan package and maybe a Recon or two, FCA doesn't offer the full tan top. You can buy the skin (part # 6QP23RU5AA) and reskin your oem soft top armature, theoretically. Then you'd need to buy the tan windows. It's what I'm contemplating, it's just really prohibitively expensive for what it is.

That's for the 4 Door. Interest is for a 2 door.
It shows a 4-door because that’s what I have in my “online garage” at Quadratec.com.

It should show a 2-door top to those with a 2-door JL in their “garage.”.

So it’s only the top and have to buy the windows separate?

edit* it’s actually only a replacement top, I have a hard top so I would need everything this piece connects to as well.

That appears to be the case. If you read the questions and answers below, Quadratec says that Mopar has been making the availability of aftermarket 2-door tops limited and difficult.

“For whatever reason Jeep does not offer the Tan twill soft top for the 2-door JL Wrangler as an aftermarket purchase.”

Yeah, no point paying two hundred more to Quadratec dude. Best case, buy the skin from one of the part wholesalers and find a standard soft top to reskin and rewindow, or get really lucky and take a full tan off someone who doesn't like it.

Quadratec offers soft tops complete with hardware and windows for JK, TJ, YJ and CJ, but I don’t see any for JL.

They carry multiple brands, designs, materials and colors.

If they don’t have it, chances are it is not available.

Based on what I can gather looking at Northridge 4x4 and Quadratec websites:
  1. The only way to get a soft top for JL 2-door, complete with hardware and windows, is by getting the Mopar Twil Soft Top or the Mopar Sailcloth Soft Top in BLACK.
  2. If you want a tan top, you then have to buy separately the Mopar replacement tan twill or sailcloth, and the windows.
It’s pretty pricey: it is $1,800 for the complete top, $1,000 for the tan replacement top, plus the windows.

For $3,500 you can buy a LOT of other things...

I haven’t checked if Bestop offers a frameless top for JL 2-door in beige/sand/pebble color. That’s something you can check if interested.

You can buy a complete soft top kit for JL 4-door in tan, but for some reason Mopar doesn't offer it for 2-door.
