Sorry if this has been done. I’m wanting to do a reinforcement for the tailgate. A swing out bumper isn’t in the cards for a long time and not is the $$ for Mopar version. I had the Teraflex version on my JK and it was really nice.
I’m only increasing the weight by 20 lbs normal but i will also have a bike on there occasionally.
At $60-70 the Rough Country and Red Rock Reinforcements will likely be adequate for my application.
Anyone have first hand experience with either or recommendations?
Also there are Mopar knockoffs on Amazon for $230 with decent reviews. Anyone actually tried one? Being that many Chinese knockoffs are simply unbadged OEM I’d consider that price point. This one even had the round recess where the Mopar Badge would go.
