In trying to nail down all of my parts and pieces to upgrade the front end within the next month or so, I've reached a dilemma.... I was planning to use (and already have on hand) the Syngery track bar/stabilizer relocation bolt to install my Exact Center stabilizer. For the other end I'm planning to order the 2" TMR clamp to go on the CavFab 2.5 ton steering setup. I then came across a note to myself I'd written a ways back to look into upgrading my track bar bolts to 9/16" to prevent the track bar mounts from getting ovaled out.

The dilemma is that the Synergy bolt/stud is just the stock M14 size so that it can use the OEM nut. Is there a better relocation method for the stabilizer so that the trackbar bolt can also be upgraded to 9/16"? I'm running the Clayton 2.5" OL+ kit with their trackbar and the OEM hardware at the moment.

I'm thinking it might. After posting this I did a quick Google search and found far more options than I realized existed... The MetalCloak instructions aren't very clear on the bolt sizes. In the part diagram they call out the large bolt that appears to be a trackbar replacement bolt as an M14, but then in the instruction pictures they show two different bolts being installed in that location. One looks to be the original bolt, the other a replacement, but they also reference it as 9/16".

@Metalcloak, would a 9/16" trackbar bolt upgrade fit with this bracket as-is or would it have to be drilled out slightly to fit?

I used the Clayton bracket. The kit includes a new 9/16 track bar bolt and flag nut.

We (Metalcloak) maintain the 14mm bolt. A 9/16 shouldered bolt will normally get stuck in our track bar bushing as well since we wanted to maintain the proper size. It could have a 9/16 bit run through it is you really feel going to a 9/16 is needed but the OEM hardware works fine when torqued correctly.
