I've read all of the posts on this and still have a question:
I recently took delivery of a 2021 JLURD with the new (cast iron) steering box. Even so, I'm surprised at the amount of play (1 inch) in the steering wheel compared to my previous JKs.

Will this product help at all with this issue?

If the play is lash then no the brace won’t help. Lash is in the steering box. If the play is from the steering box flexing then yes this brace will help. You can check to see if steering box is flexing by watching it where it bolts to the frame with a flashlight while someone turns the steering wheel.

I'm starting to believe the "play" in the steering is actually flightiness cause by the lack of proper camber.
