I have been strongly considering the lift kit form Synergy, I am a big fan of all their parts, however I am questioning their spring rate and want to dig into it a bit more.

Synergy claims that their spring rates are slightly above the stock spring rates, as shown here strait from their website....

This is the spring rate chart they have for the front...

And this is the spring rate chart they have for the rear...

Can anyone confirm what the stock JL Rubicon spring rates are, anything that I am able to find online currently says that they are 123 for the front and 172 for the rear. If this is true however than synergy's springs are softer in the front, could this be true? My fear is with a steel bumper and winch that a 120 synergy spring in the from will be too soft.

Side question: does anyone know what he extended lengths of the stock JL Rubicon springs are?

Thanks for the reply! It is a bit confusing when synergy has a progressive spring that gets firmer the more it compresses. After talking with synergy it seems that its a 120 ride rate, but with compression it gets firmer.

Got them installed and excited to put them to the test! But who knows, maybe there will be a diffrent set of springs in my future, we will see!

I appreciate you taking the time and helping out with all that info!

Yeah, there info can be confusing. 120 static load and then it firms up when you and your gear are compressing on it, same as driving it is now a dynamic load or riding load, which again is firmer than static. And you're like what is the spring rate? 120 as it rolled off the factory, around 125-127 when installed due to supporting the Jeep and you.

In any event, let me know how it goes out there. I hear good things about synergy.

Will do, I'm just getting it all back together and going to start driving on it this week. I'll jump back on here for an update.

Paired with what shocks? Did you have them done at accutune?

Went with fox 2.0's for now. (Save a bit of money because of all the other purchases. Can't valve those ones though accutune unfortunately otherwise I would of. Once I upgrade the shock though I may go to fox factory (from accutune) with the reservoir or perhaps falcon 3.3's, leaning towards the falcons due to the digressive shock with the soft spring pairing. Plus I love the type of quick adjust they offer.)

I was on the same journey. I hear good and bad about falcons and the general consensus seems to be that they are too stiff for the road, Offroad great but too stiff for the city. And the fox's always have great reviews all around. Seems both Teraflex and Rock Krawler have their fan base. What Teraflex is offering at their price point is incredible. And fox well fox 2.0 with the resi's are what I have. Love them. It's tough when you can't drive them back to back to feel the difference.

Falcon 3.3. The ride is a tad harsh under 15mph, but not horrible. Any speed above that and its as smooth as factory, or dang close.

Shocks and spring ride quality is very subjective in my opinion. I had Synergy 3" springs and falcon 3.3SP2s and I really didn't like the rough ride. I switched to accutune kings and it completely changed the ride for me. Whats great for one is not always great for the other. Trust me, I had learned this the hard way after going through I think 5 brands of shocks.

Holy hell 5 different sets. Now that is commitment and determination.

And yes, ride quality is very subjective. I had my fox's done at Accutune and love my ride quality. No dive, no boat, no body roll and the suspension works on the bumps and the body stays steady with little to no movement.
