Synergy MFG Heavy Duty Jeep JL Tie Rods and Drag links have started shipping to our dealers. If you pre-ordered, the wait is over!

8800-01 Jeep JL HD Drag Link
8802-01 Jeep JL HD Tie Rod

Our tie rod and drag link are both direct bolt-in replacements for all Jeep JL models and are compatible with stock wheels with no wheel spacers. Both components feature fully welded bars unlike the OEM crimped design and feature much larger heavy duty greaseable metal on metal tie rod ends for increased durability and strength. Both bars also feature a single plane tie rod end on one end to prevent excessive unwanted movement (flop) and to simplify installation. The bars feature pinch bolts on both ends (no jam nuts that always come loose!!!) and a double adjuster assembly on one end so the length of the bar can be adjusted without removing it from the vehicle.

The drag link includes the required flip adapter for those who will be converting to high steer (requires proper bump stop spacing and track bar relocation bracket).
The tie rod requires our 8807-03 Jeep JL Steering Stabilizer Relocation Kit which relocates the steering stabilizer above the tie rod and out of harm's way. It is compatible with stock or any stabilizer that uses 1/2" mounting hardware. We also offer our own Synergy Tuned Fox Steering Stabilizer, FOX-982-24-941.

With all the steering issues being reported on the Jeep JL, these components are easy upgrades to prevent the tie rod, drag link, and steering stabilizer from being contributing factors to steering shimmy or death wobble.

I need the steering stabilizer bracket! No one has it in stock yet.

Also, I ordered the Ultimate dana 44 so it’ll be interesting to see how your bracket fits on it.

I’ll report back after everything is installed

Looking forward to your impressions and thanks for choosing us! We use a different mounting system than stock for the steering stabilizer. The tie rod is actually now in the location where the stock steering stabilizer was. We were able to make the tie rod compatible with stock wheels this way and relocate the steering stabilizer up and out of the way above the tie rod. The steering stabilizer now mounts to the axle where the track bar bolts to it with the track bar mount stud we include in the steering stabilizer relocation kit.

The axle is coming this week as well as the Tie Rod..Can I order the bracket directly through you guys? No one else has it in stock and say it cannot be dropped shipped.

When can we expect the adjustable track bar for the JL, so we can do all 3 at the same time?

I touched on it in this thread, but we are still working out a few small details on the front track bar.

To be honest, the most difficult component we are trying to finish right now is our front track bar. Design goals are: having it work with no lift and no bump stop spacing with our heavy duty drag link, tie rod, and new track bar brace/sector shaft brace, fit with aftermarket diff covers, and require no modification or cutting of the Jeep to install. These goals may be unrealistic, but we are very close so we haven't given up yet!

Totally forgot but the synergy tie rod is substantially heavier than stock. Way more stout.

Btw, the synergy brackets/ components for the tie rod work with the UD dana 44 for the JL. For future reference.

The synergy Tie rod does come in contact with the factory steering stabilizer mount on the axle at full lock (Only full lock turned passenger) but it is very slight and hardly takes paint off. I will likely grind some of the bracket off because that is how close it is to clearing. Only reason it rubs is due to how beefy the brackets are.

I'm very curious, where is the contact you are seeing on the Ultimate Dana 44 axle? Please post pictures if you can.
