Currently running the rough country 2.5 spacer lift on my Rubicon, I want to switch to an actual spring lift. I’m happy with the ride heigth (for now) in order to maintain it should I be looking at a 3.5 kit vs a 2.5 kit given the extra height of the Rubicon spring? Or am I nuking this?????

I did the same thing... RC spacer to Metalcloak 2.5 coils with a terraflex .5 spacer... it's way taller than expected. I didn't measure before and after but I should have. I'm guessing it's 1.5-2" taller than with the RC kit... before and after pics below

It's easier to see if you look at the difference in the rear fender and tire clearance between the 2 pics...

Is the rest of your suspension stock?? Control arms and what not. Those 35s your running? If thats what I can expect I should be fine with just the springs. Have you had any issues with the drive shaft?

I have 37's, LCA's and adjustable track bars... I kept the RC rear sway bar links since they're longer and moved the stock rear links to the front because the links RC supplies are too short for this setup... I kept the RC bump stops since they "should" be close to what I need but I haven't found anywhere to get it flexed enough to get close to the fenders... No issues with either driveshaft yet. <fingerscrossed>
