Complete tool kit with sockets and wrenches, fire extinguisher, axe, shovel, hatchet, saw, recovery strap, snach block, tree saver, d-rings, flash lights, chem lights, full medical kit, flares, zip ties, velcro, gorilla tape, air compressor with tire repair kit. I have gamma bags where I keep the tools and smaller stuff. I trail ride a few times a month, so most of this is required by my group.

I’d consider swapping out those jumper cables for a mini portable battery jump pack. Not only makes you self sufficient, but jumper cables are dangerous with today’s computer cars.

I have to disagree with this one.... if you want to add a jump pack in addition to cables, fine. I don’t recommend abandoning the jumper cables. I had one of those jump packs, and it failed to turn over my BMW. Cables started it right up.

I encourage you all not to ignore my comments about having plain ole jumper cables and also a
N-1 to N-2 , 40 amp fused jumper in your JL ...... and how to use when you are out on the trail or wherever and your JL won't start.

Thinking all you need in a JL is your top notch jumper pack is a big mistake on your part. Do, do your homework on this. Don't brush off what I am saying..

I have both a jump pack and regular cables. Just in case there isn’t another vehicle around when off roading. One time I used my previous vehicle to jump someone else’s dead battery and then my vehicle failed to start the next morning- needed a new alternator and battery. Since buying the Jeep, I’ve jumped other stranded dead battery vehicles with my jump pack.

Did I miss it. Am I the only one that carries a chain saw?

Later,

I have a one mile driveway with trees on both sides....depends on the weather, but I don't carry it all the time. I've had to cut 25 trees to get out in the ice storm of 99. Every year you get stopped at least once for a fallen tree, but not my EDC kit.
