I'm curious. I need to get my Jeep in for a recall and also have a couple warranty issues I want to have them check out. Mainly, a rotational clunking noise which I think is coming from somewhere in the driveshaft.

I have 35s on and needed to re-cal with Sueprchips. I know I need to revert back to stock before taking it in, but what will they do if they see 35s on? They know that may throw off the speedo.

Is this okay?

Most likely they won't make a big deal out of it.. they will undoubtedly try to get you to have them do tire programming so they can get $100+ out of you for that. Just tell them, ok... I will do when I have money in my budget to do so. Reality is, a lot of guys drive around with speedo error due to tire size.

DO unmarry the programmer and get any programmer hardware out of the vehicle before the appt..

Remember, it the dealer asks if you have been using a programmer, just say no. Even if they tell you they think you have been or whatever else, they may say, just say no, you have not used a programmer.

Just remember this Jeep cares posted just the other day that they read the post. And most people user names and emails or listed here and are attached to your Jeep. Just saying.

@JeepCares I have only had limited success with the dealership I currently use but itā€™s the one that is the closest to me, I have an appt on the 26th of this month so you can pm me and I can give you the particulars on whatā€™s going on so maybe you can lay the ground work for a more positive experience

It will save them money if they don't have warranty repairs. But again ask your dealer. But again your choice
