Not surprisingly but I vote: absolutely! I find that with fabric over your head instead of hardtop, the vehicle cools down quicker. When your AC starts pumping, the hardtop holds heat and radiates it down to you. The Sunrider cools down more quickly as it doesn't hold the heat, plus you can flip it back quickly and easily at night or in nice weather! I think it's be best addition to a hardtop Jeep.

I put a Sunrider on my wifes Sahara, she is short, so wrestling with the freedom panels is a PITA and you have storage issue, so very convenient to flip back or close.

Cant answer the heat issue other than to say the Jeep cools pretty well with it on hot days here.

Would recommend 303 Fabric protector to treat it and wash it with soft brush when washing your Jeep, have 14 yr old convertibles and the twill tops last if you clean and treat them.
