Indeed, LiteBrite's video does not show / display what one will need to do or what they will actually be faced with in regard to the install of the Bestop Sunrider for JL. The video is laughable in my opinion...

I might add that more often then not I like LiteBrite's videos.

What exactly does the install entail? I've heard mention of a "cable" in a few threads, but with no specifics.

Well, the install requires so very little, I'd say most any young guy, gal, teen, Grandma, Grandpa could do it. The SR weighs 38#, so you need to be able to briefly lift 38#, that is the only caveat.

Suggest you watch the two install videos to view the actual placement / install of the SR. What the videos both drop the ball on / leave out is the placement of the "Z-Clips". The placement of them is not terrorizing lets say but will get you thinking and have you fumbling and saying what the frigg.

I’m sure you can figure out how to stick a little rod in the hole. Easy peasy lol

The cable and clips for the cable aren’t hard. It literally goes into the hole with a little finagling. The install is nothing to worry about. It’s just as easy as we showed it to be. That was our first time messing with it and had no issues.

Yes, I like their videos also. Actually, their video regarding the SR steered me into buying one. I actually called Bestop and told them they needed to see BriteLite's SR video and they needed to hire her asap, to promote their SR offering. I messaged Kevin and told him he should reach out to Bestop.... and that I had called Bestop regarding LiteBrite's video.

In regard to the SR install video LiteBrite did ...... well very misleading to say the least. The most important part of the install, the actual assembly, is not tendered. Once you do the assembly / install you will understand what I am spewing. 8-)

That's good news, I'll be putting it on later today. I'm glad you guys don't use the velcro straps ,that's a PITA,

Put it on in maybe 30 min. No help except for setting it on the jeep. I didn't have any problem with the cable. It took maybe 5 min to do both sides. I pulled the clip out a little, and used needle nose vice grips to hold the cable

out from the fabric. Inserted it it the hole and put a piece of duct tape over it. I did assemble it up off the floor on a table in the garage. That for sure was much easier to me

Actually i work on windows for a living and have to hold nylon cords that are under allot of pressure. So I would of went straight to that. But seriously thanks for the heads up. My little chocolate nugget just wanted mama to take her for a ride. Lol
