Hey guys,
I've seen a few people show how they mounted their remote heads and antenna, but not a lot talking about how they mounted the radio itself. I've got mine kinda strapped between the seat adjustment bracket and seat itself. However, it's kinda cluggie and isn't too secure. How are you guys mounting your radios?

I just have my Midlands 275 laying under my driver's seat. I purchased an extension mic cord...has worked great for 5 months now.

Here is a bracket I built last night to mount the radio to the seat adjustment lever under the passenger seat.
I ended doing something kinda similar. It didn’t work out as cleanly as yours though. I ended up needing to use a few zip ties to keep it from shifting.

Thank you both for the ideas !!

Bringing back an older thread because your solution seems really perfect. Wondering if you made a template or anything when you made the bracket? This seems like an ideal solution! Thanks

I cut the brackets on my laser and still have the design. I can cut as many as I need as long as I keep putting material in the machine. :)

My plan is to make a bracket to mount it behind the panel that is directly under the steering wheel. There is an amazing amount of space there and a couple of braces that give you something to bolt to. It won't be easy making the mounts, but in the end it will be out of the way.

Having now installed one of the brackets I had to come back on and say what an awesome solution this is! Simple yet secure and perfect fit under the seat. Thanks @Txcomp!
