Suggestion on license plate gram for 2020 Rubi

This is how my 2018 came, too. After zooming in on @Adventure.AS picture, it looks to me like his dealer hooked him up with a fancy (as in not stock) bracket. Mine came with no such thing.

It depends on if your state/province requires a front plate. Ontario does so it came from the factory this way.

Connecticut also requires a front plate, but my factory order just came with a basic bracket that screws on via holes that need to be drilled.

I wonder if Canada orders get better brackets.

Good Morning Jeep Freaks! I will be having the Rubi steel bumper installed next week and wanted some suggestions on license plate frames. I’m not a fan of anything chrome and would like something durable. Below is a pic of my 2 week old ride.

If you're wanting a clean look and not having to drill holes in the fair lead cover, I highly recommend the Maximus-3 Stealth front plate bracket. It is a simple bolt-on part that uses existing bolts on the bottom of the bumper.

Mine came with one and I'm just going to drill holes in the plastic winch hole plug. I'll have to rethink that when I install a winch but that's where it will live for now. They don't pre-install it because it might be going to a state that doesn't require it. I found it sealed in plastic in the cargo tub in the back, about two weeks after I took delivery.

The Warn winch mounting system for the OEM steel bumper comes with a license plate mount that attaches under the fairlead. It has 2 holes and I used the stock license plate holder and attached to that. I installed a hinge so when I use the winch the license plate drops out of the way.

Check out the pictures for a secure front license plate mount. I used an ABS plastic backing plate, stainless steel hardware from EBay, and then the following from Amazon:
