Why not put a 4-6 week freeze on new orders and get half way caught up......(not let dealers submit). That way potential new jeep order owners would not start their expectations for another month. Then manufacturing could concentrate on existing orders and not have so many pissed off customers. just a thought.

Sold Orders get priority over dealer orders anyways.

Refusing orders would just push customers to the Bronco where they'll have to wait a year.

If you suspend new orders, they won't know what parts they'll need to order to build the backlog of vehicles that they need.

They're selling every one that they build. If the person ordering gets upset and goes elsewhere, there are numerous other buyers itching to get their hands on it.

Take the orders and give the realistic delivery date. Never refuse an order, make it happen!
