Used to be dozens of them on I-40 back in the day. Don’t forget about that red peanut praline patty. One of those would have three kids bouncing off the walls of the station wagon for hours!
One of them, I believe in Oklahoma, had a bee hive in an exterior wall. Had a plexiglass cover so you could watch the goings on.
Oh, and Stuckey’s had magic smoke. You’ll remember it if you’re my age…

Where are all of the Stuckey's roadside stores go?
Today Stuckey's is building itself back up, with over 65 locations along the most popular highways in the country including Missouri, Mississippi, and Georgia. The locations are a mix of the traditional, standalone stores with the classic teal sloped roofs that many of us remember from childhood road trips, plus the Stuckey's Express stores.

I haven't seen a Stuckey's since I was too young to remember what they were all about.

Buc-ee's is they new Stuckey's. You could walk in naked and starving then leave fully dressed and fed. Also, the cleanest gas station restrooms on the planet. The one closest to me also has a feed store.

About the only places I like to buy gas on the road is this place or a QT

I am... getting someone else to rewire the switches so that 1 switch puts both front windows down... 1 switch puts both front windows up... 1 switch puts both rear windows down, 1 switch puts both rear windows up. So i only have to push and never have to pull.

Just so ya'll know they also carry multiple grades of non ethanol fuel. Always the best price for fuel for the area. Most have signs starting at 100+ miles away

You still have to press downward on button. You can do that with 1" finger nail?? We have some Halloween witches fake long fingers nails. I will have to stick one on and do this.

No Stuckey's Famous Pecan Log there. The pecan logs they have are just plain ole ones. Lot's of other goodies but no good Pecan log. There is one by Rockwall off I-30 All this talk and memories of Stuckey's I have ordered a box on their website just now.
