A loaded $60K Gladiator against a pretty basic Ford Ranger. I think they should have waited and compared it to a Ranger Raptor when it’s available here.

Your takeaway was completely different from mine.So a 20k cheaper ranger is basically just as good???
The Ranger looks like shit though..So a 20k cheaper ranger is basically just as good???
And the doors and roof are much more difficult to removeThe Ranger looks like shit though..
I predict that it’ll make it here within a few years if Ranger sales are strong. And I think they will be.I just watched a review on the Ranger Raptor and it makes me wonder why its not offered here in the US... It seems to have the same marketing scheme as the F-150 Raptor. Drive super fast on Sand! But looks like a good off roader.
Almost 2 million Pesos though!
I agree, I doubt it will be a direct competitor to the Wrangler, but go after the Tacoma and Gladiator crowds.I predict that it’ll make it here within a few years if Ranger sales are strong. And I think they will be.
This may sound odd comping from a Sahara guy but.... I'm pretty meh on the Gladiator Overland... no factory AT tires... Come on!Not a fan of the Gladiator...it looks ridiculous, it is trying way to hard to be a pickup, and looks like it is 14 miles long, maybe it would look better in a 2dr, but I havn't seen one in person yet, maybe it is totally a pic thing.
And it pisses me off that you can get D44s under a Gladiator sport and not a wrangler sport from factory.
That ranger looks like a boring pickup.
The Ranger Raptor however is SEXY AF
Agree, that green would be awesome on a JL/JLUSport and Rubicon look pretty good though, especially in the tactical colors they neglected to offer on the Wrangler
Agreed with you on the Ranger though. Pretty pedestrian outside of the Raptor.
