I am planning on installing the same 315/70R17 KO2s on my 4xe Rubicon JLU that come on the xtreme recon package. I don’t plan on a lift or wheel change.

I would like to see a side by side of what I want to do to mine and then an Xtreme Recon package jeep. Is the 1.5in lift, wheels, gearing, and what not worth it truly? Looks wise that is. Performance wise I am not a rock crawler and do mild off-roading like most.

I really just want to keep up looks wise with all the soon to be Sasquatch Broncos that are going to be hitting the road. But I don’t want to necessarily spend an extra $2k on the mopar 2in if it doesn’t make stance and appearance better. I don’t need it functionally. We all want our rigs to look good.

So chuck a small spacer lift in it and be done. That ought to keep those Sasquatches from intimidating you at stop lights and whatnot. ;)

Following. I’m looking to do the same. Putting some 315 KO2s on my JLUR. Looking to replicate the Xtreme Recon height and spacing. Haven’t found a clear answer yet.

Hey guys. You can put 35's on your stock Rubicon suspension. Will it look better with a XR set of springs on it. Yes it will. But your getting tall enough now you should look at longer lower control arms so if you go that route look into buying some lower control arms. The steering will be much better with the Caster adjusted. Speaking from experience, small lift and larger tires satisfies you for about 6 months then you will get used to it and wish you would have just gone a little higher. I will include a series of pictures of my Jeep stock/35's stock suspension/35's with Mopar 2". Then I will include a pic I stole from SmileyRecon21. Look him up on the Forum. He replaced his XR lift with the Mopar 2". The pic I took from him is with the Mopar on his XR edition on the 315's that came with it.

This right here is all I’ve been wanting. Thank you. Helps so much with where I want to take my Jeep.

I had 315s on my JLUR they are slighter wider and shorter than 35's
first image 315s with Method Wheels and 2.5 lift
second image is 37s all the rest is the same, both the the 37s and 35s are 12.5 in with the 315 slightly wider

I personally like the second photo; were the 35’s the 315 KO2s? What are the rim specs? It’s amazing how much the 1.5” TF spacers added to the wheel well height. This is super helpful. I might just go with photo #2 + 3/4” spacer lift so give a little more clearance.

Those are the 35x12.50 E loads, only way to get the white letters.

Note, the TF 1.5 is a 2” front spacer and 1.5” rear.

And I did not go off-road before lifting and adding 2” bump stops. No rub on road.

wheels are 17x8.5 +18mm

Thanks! I might go for a 1” front spacer and 3/4” rear spacer after seeing these photos! Thanks for sharing.

Going for this look …
