I’ve never done it, but I’ve read that you don’t want to push the doorstops in because they’re extremely hard to get back out.

There are actually tools to pull it back out in case it does go inside. I want it inside so I can mount my doors on door hangar. Anyone?

I just use a rubber mallet to push the door stops inside the door. It helps to do this while the door is still on the Jeep. A pair of vice grip pliers work well to pull them back out. I normally push the door straps in the door in the spring and pull them back out in the winter when I’m not taking the doors off all the time.
