I think you may be right. I assumed it was granite at first.

I had just assumed it was white, and that it just looked a bit different because of the lighting, but you may be right. That would be a strange way to reveal it. This whole thing has been very meticulously planned, so it would be surprising if this were the sting gray

Hard for me to tell what the true color is from this lighting. If you look at the dash, it's very yellow and warm overall, when we know it doesn't look like that under neutral lighting. The color is probably closer to neutral grey than it looks here.
