Hey people...

I just spent all day installing the teraflex 1 1/2" leveling kit but now my front sits at 37 1/4" and rear sits at 39"... SMH. Not sure if you can see it in the dark pic

The back should sit higher. That's intended. Cargo is what levels it.

I did the Tereflex kit on my 2 dr and wound up having to put and additional 1/2" spacer in the front. Still not level. I think Tereflex missed the boat on there leveling kits. As for cargo in the back, alot of jeeps get heavier bumpers and winches in the front.

Well, if your kit is a spacer lift you’ll only get what it measures. When you install them you’ll know exactly what you’re going to get.

Question? Excuse my ignorance.
What if you just put the spacers in the front and none in the rear?
What kind of issues would this cause?

None. It would be 1.5” higher in the front than it was.

I did the Teraflex 1.5 Spacer kit. The 2-inch front removed Factory Rake and the 1.5 inch rear leveled it out. Before and after pics.

I think the spacers are front rear specific. Thats my complaint with Tereflex. When I purchased the lift, I purchased thinking I would get 1 1/2 front and back. for the 2 door they give you 1" up front and 1 1/2" in the rear. I already had the jeep apart so I assumed Tereflex new what they were doing. Wrong. Their only solutions was to spend more, I'm done with Tereflex.

@NewJLU2019 your Jeep looks nice, what size tires have you got?
I am running 33s, and have been debating the Teraflex kit, but looking for some pics on 33s.
~Thanks

Thanks, These are BFG KO2's 275/R70/18 The kit lifted just enough for what I wanted. More rooms for 33's and off-road.

I had the same experience. Purchased the 1.5" kit for my 2 door JL. It sat level before the spacer install and after the install the front was sitting a half inch lower than the rear. I ended up purchasing an additional 1/2" spacer for the front. The 1/2" combined the the 1" front spacer included with the kit, now has my JL sitting level with a 1.5" lift at all 4 corners.

what i dont get is some kits like the RC spacer kit have 2.5" front and 2" rear.
but some other kits have front only "leveling kits" with 1.5" of lift?

so which is it? .5" or 1.5"? lol i know it may depend on your bumpers but they cant be that much of a difference.

I think it depends on 2dr vs 4dr. If i were to do it again I would pre-measure what my front and rear heights are then add spacers based on what I wanted for and end result.

Make sure you didn’t accidentally install the 2dr kit on your 4dr, 2dr kit would actually make the rake even worse.
