Took the Jeep for its first (touchless) car wash today to get the road salt off of it from the recent snow/slush I've been commuting through this week. Looking at it afterward, I first thought I had scratches on both the hood and one of the soft top windows. Then I realized that it was actually residue from something sticky. Looking at the other side of the hood I could see where two lines came together to form a right-angle corner. I'm guessing there was a sticker on my hood and side window at some point during the assembly process? I don't know.

What do you use to get sticky residue from both paint and soft-top windows?

rubbing alcohol. For the soft top window I would ask Bestop what to use.

paint and glass is easy but the soft top windows concern me. I would take it back to the dealer and have their detail shop take care of it that way if they jack it up, they take care of it.

The hood and glass I’ve always used goo-gone little bit on a microfiber shop rag and don’t rub like a gorilla comes right off then wash that off, I’ve never had any luck using isopropyl alcohol for glue residue. Don’t know about the soft top window

I've used Goo-Gone on other things but hadn't tried it on vehicle paint before so I wasn't sure. I've also used WD-40 but again, never on vehicle paint.

Spot test to be sure, but this stuff is magic for sticker glue and I’ve used it with automotive paint with good luck in the past. It would be my first option

Jeep Wrangler JL Sticker residue? A1880635-4F20-4AAC-997F-7763BF25292A

this stuff works great for removing adhesive, but for the soft top windows I’d use isopropyl alcohol

60 grit sandpaper will take it off….. and then some. 🤣

on a more serious note, try bug and tar remover. That stuff is paint safe

I’ve done both goo-gone and wd-40 I think goo-gone works better less rubbing shit comes right off I always wash that spot immediately after and throw some wax back on it
