Purchased 2021 JLUR 7 months and 7k miles ago. I just realized that when I press the up arrow on the steering wheel the menu number decreases (i.e. 2 down to 1). The opposite happens when pressing down arrow (i.e. 2 goes up to 3). Is this normal? I never really noticed the menu numbers until now.

It’s normal. Think of it as going up and down a numbered list.

It feels like a bad design because there are so many threads about it. Its not intuitive.

I agree. It's weird. I imagine if they'd made it the opposite, others would feel like that was wrong.

Maybe instead of 1, 2, 3, it should have been A, B, C. Or not numbered ) lettered at all.
