on a long daily commute

From my experience with stock Rubicon with steel bumper suspension... once I added winch the extra weight slightly lowered the front suspension. After driving on highway 60 miles round trip 70MPH +, there was a more positive feel in steering. I have a feeling depending on lift, air flow may cause instability issues above 60MPH. A lift from up force to lighten front end, which can change toe in or toe out. A good example is driving into wind gusts... bucking the wind. Bumpy roads or dips can make a wander, loose feel or jerk amplified, when air lift lightens front end. A stabilizer may help hide, but won't correct.

I am planning on a 1.5" ~ 2" lift but without adjusting to level the front. It's better looking than the squat look, to say the least. But 35s and a 1.5" lift with a slight nose drop should be better on the trails than what I got with 33s with a slight nose drop.

IMO , Yes it’s worth it, and I also recommend relocating it as well…..

I'm no expert. However in my experience yes. And part of the reason I say yes is although the OEM stabilizer does a decent job. Even if you leave your jeep 100% stock there are still better ones out there that will do a better job.

From what little I know, I don't believe a (I don't know the exact name) single shaft stabilizer that goes in and out can do as good of job as a through shaft stabilizer like the Fox ATS (Adjustable through shaft) I just applied common sense here.

The Fox ATS is the one I went with. In my opinion it is one of the best mods I have done to my jeep. I also love that it is adjustable, and do the adjustments actually work, they absolutely do. Even just two clicks you can tell the difference. It definitely made a difference in every area. Steering inputs, bumps, cornering etc.

I would follow @Roky’s lead.. very knowledgeable. relocating is a good idea while you are at it.. and yes it would help with the jeep getting squirrelly on the road. I would run the synergy stabilizer relocation (part #8807-03) with your choice of stabilizer.. I have the AEV stabilizer and i’m definitely satisfied. hope this helps!

100%! My vote (after using both the Fox T-S on my '20 JLR and the Fox ATS on my '24 JLR-X) is the Fox ATS, I started at setting 9 and settled in at 18.
However you did not mention what type of lift and what alignment specs were after the lift. Providing a quality lift properly installed with adjustable control arms, tire pressure adjusted and a competent alignment...A good through shaft adjustable stabilizer relocated above the tie rod is very helpful!

I followed Roky's suggestion, glad I did.

OP, I have a synergy relocation bracket. I personally didn't like the way it fit the tie rod. But, if you decide to go that route shoot me a PM I will give it to you cheap.

I say this, but only if you're tie rod is stock size. My synergy bracket is for the stock size tie rod.

Absolutely YES, especially considering the fact the Bilstein B8 5100 steering damper (stabilizer) can be had for under $100.

I added it to my wife's lifted Rubicon on 35's.

Google search for a 5% off promo code and be sure to add the Mopar bolt if you have a MY22+ JL/JT.

i may take up on your offer,
yet ques: your thoughts on the fox ats
direct swap out version with out relocating (just replacing the stock with same bolt on connections).

btw ~ i run my jeep 90% commuter/10% trails (offroad)

IMO , Yes it’s worth it, and I also recommend relocating it as well…..
I want to get the Falcon’s EF 2.1,…
your thoughts on the Fox version?

my jeep wanders most on the highway stretch at 60+ mph.

i plan to install the direct swap of the factory for now, although relocating it with a aftermarket tie rod ie synergy would be ideal.

So can you help me find the right setup
to install it and relocating it
(steering stabilizer and tie rod parts
that pair well with each other)

i was planning on installing this:

If your rig is wandering at highway speed, that’s usually a low caster issue not a stabilizer issue….Did the lift you put on address caster?

Here's what happened to my stabilizer in the stock location, and why I relocated my new one... on hard trails, admittedly.
