Question for those that have lifted and running 37" tires. Did it change how much effort needed to turn the wheel on or off-road? Straining the electric pump? Just seems like the electric pump would be under a pretty good load with a heavy wheel/tire combo. Really looking to see how 37" tires are working for the 2.0 guys as well.

Was on 35s almost from the day I brought it home a couple months, and 37s for about 9 months now, and we wheel about every weekend absolutely no issues......:).

When aired down I can really tell the difference, but running my normal 25psi I have 0 issues.

Nice color on your Jeep OP! I went with a lighter 37 inch setup and havenā€™t had any issues.

Between 15-16 mpg usually for me. Mastercraft mxtā€™s are 69 pounds and the wheels are 26 so 95 total.
I do have the v6. The turbo 4 should yield slightly better mpg even with the 37s than the v6.

Pro comp 43s?
No they are gfx wheels from discount tire. 17x9+12. Almost went with pro comp 7069s but they shot up in price when it was time to buy. These were only about $100 a piece with rebates at the time I bought them (some holiday). Rear tires do slightly rub the rear liner but not bad enough to matter.

If you make it a habit of not turning the wheel while stationary on solid ground, you will have no issues.

Did you regear? I thinking about going to 4.88 when I add the lift and tires.

The rubicon with 4.10s do just fine in my opinion. The 8 speed is awesome. I do have the tazer to correct speedometer and other stuff, I have no plans to regear. Will even hold 8th if going fast enough on the freeway. It likes to stay in 6th at times but I bump it to manual mode and put it in 7th or 8th if on a long road trip. 8.5 hours to Moab this way and worked great.

What lift are you going with? Iā€™m going to do the mopar lift before too long here. Just went with rough country spacer lift while I researched what actual lift to go with and they havenā€™t been bad.

I am currently running 35's and the electric steering has only "failed" me under certain conditions: tires at 8psi or less on tight mountain trails trying to crank the wheels when the rig is not moving fwd or bkwd. I noticed it is even worse on my buddies rigs with 37's. But that is only under very tight/low speed/high traction conditions. Would be nice to have hydro assist in those situations. If you dont hit those conditions, you may never notice it.

Was this on a 2-door or 4-door? They have different steering ratios.
