Well, bought my first Jeep this year about 5 or 6 months ago. Ever since I bought it I have had multiple problems my 4HI never seemed to want to work it would always say I’m in 4WD neutral, I’ve had excessive steering play, and it is a WORKOUT to keep it on the road. It was previously recalled for the factory steering damper before I purchased and as of now I have an aftermarket steering stabilizer to try to mask the problem. But as I drive it now after I get off of a 30 minute highway commute to work my arms are exhausted from have to keep adjusting the steering wheel, and I can also wiggle it about a inch and half like crazy and no response. That is definitely one of my most annoying problems but another thing I have also experienced and probably something I for sure expected to atleast WORK on my wrangler would be my 4HI. It will shift into the 4HI position but it will say it is in 4WD neutral. Also just the other day my center console latch just snapped off?? Have driven many cars and I have never had this happen before. Seems like it was not glued correctly or something. My jeep has been in the dealership MULTIPLE times and none of these problems have been fixed and was just told it, “it’s a jeep thing” for the steering, having an inch and a half of play in the steering is NOT a jeep thing. Even my buddies POS Cherokees steer better than my 2018 Wrangler.
Really curious if anyone else is having the same problems as me.
