I have 2021 JLU Rubicon with steering issues (also a 2017 JKU Rubicon Hardrock that's now my daughters). I have two issues.

When traveling at 55-65 mph the steering locks up/tightens significantly. So much so that I have to muscle it just to get it to the side of the road. When the speed returns to under 30 mph the steering returns to normal. It's almost like the old days when the power steering goes out but it's even more resistant than power steering failure. It happened once last night and three times this morning. It doesn't happen every time I am at higher speeds. I immediately took it to the dealer which is 30 miles away. They were unable to duplicate the issue and not sure how to address it. I know I have the new steering box design but is this an issue any of you have seen before? What is the solution - replace the steering box? This is a serious safety issue and fortunate I wasn't on busy expressway. I have no modifications to this jeep yet and have only put about 1500 miles on it over the past 4 weeks. A response, guidance, and assistance would be very much appreciated.

The other issue isn't at concerning but my 2021 Rubicon does feel looser and wanders at higher speeds. It is a noticeable issue as a I have a 2017 JKU Rubicon Hardrock with a different steering box that I can also drive to compare which does not feel loose at higher speeds. I seen on message boards that a possible solution to help improve this issue is to add some longer Mopar lower control arms since the 2021 JLU Rubicon essentially comes with a 2" lift. Can you confirm this solution or is it to replace the steering box?

That's a rough start to your new Rubicon adventure :(
This thread isn't exactly what you're dealing with but maybe some of that is going on w/ yours

The 1/4" longer Mopar lift LCAs will get your caster in the 6 degree range, this will be a good 'upgrade and should get rid of the "prone to wander" symptoms you're seeing at higher speeds.

Good luck w/ that steering issue, sounds quite alarming :(

Seat your fuses. There is a new thread mentioning this solved his 2021 steering problem issues. I really hope this is the solution.
