I recently upgraded the set up on my 2019 JLU Sahara. I think the larger heavier tire size is adding to the less “responsive” feel when I turn the steering wheel. The Jeep drives and turns just fine but there appears to be just a slight amount of play.
Is this common when going to a heavier wheel and can this improved to feel more like stock?
I put on 35x12.5R18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers and mounted these on 18” Black Rhino wheels....and took off my stock tires and wheels.
I also put on a 2” BDS lift with Fox shocks.
Not sure if a steering stabilizer would help here? There is no shaking so I am guessing not.
