Same one that was installed incorrectly, not a new one, right?

Great is that’s true. It probably doesn’t move the fluid well if it’s upside down but didn’t get damaged.
All new kit

So the Jeep tech increased the PSI higher than the recommended PSI that is written on the door jam?
Yep checked when I got home and tire psi at all 4 corners was 47psi according to my arb acu guage. Was a very bouncy wandering ride home. Set all at 35psi drove around and all seems well...For now lol

I did not have any steering issues with my JL, just had the V-41 recall preformed on my Jeep. Probably should have just left the old damper on and avoid getting all PISSED OFF. Funny thing, because of this forum I had a valid suspicion what I was going to see when I got home. Thank goodness they did not touch the wheels/tires or change the oil.

Well, logged into the Jeep portal and noticed my Jeep is now under the V41 campaign. I just had my trackbar replaced this week. Called up my dealer and they need to order the part in, and will schedule the work once it is in.

Did the recall today. Right off the bat I can tell the steering is tighter which I like as I came from a sports car. Drives way better now I think. No more floating in the steering. Didn't get the death wobble on the way home but didn't drive too far. So far so good. Made sure they installed correctly

Took my JL in today for the V-41 recall, had a 9:00 am appointment (I was early), 1.5 hours later it was done. Drove home to see this.

I initially asked them if they could give me the part and using my tools to let me put it on in the parking lot to save me time, they thought I was kidding, I was serious. I would have singed off on the paperwork just like like they would have preformed the warranty work. I Could have been in and out in 15 minutes.

Can anybody guess guess what I getting ready to do at home and torque to 59 lb-ft .:angry:

EDIT: Appears if I need anymore service work done on my JL it is going to be at least a 1 hour drive, sure would have been nice to to keep it local. The front of my Jeep is the bottom of the photo.
Luckily they did mine correctly. I would be pissed

I had the recall work done and now I notice my steering wants to veer slightly to the right while driving. I'm not sure if what they did had any impact on alignment or why I now notice this change.

1. Check to make sure they installed it in the correct direction. There is a label with an arrow indicating which direction.

2. My new V1 steering stabilizer also pulled to the right. They replaced it with a new V1 steering stabilizer and it no longer pulls to the right.

I just had the recall done yesterday. It definitely feels better. Mine also pulls slightly to the right. I checked and it is installed correctly. I will give it a couple more days and have them check the alignement.

FYI - There are only two alignment adjustments without parts on a JL Wrangler - toe and steering wheel center, neither affect pulling. When my first V1 steering stabilizer was pulling, I gave it some time in case it was still new and needed to break-in. But it kept pulling to the right, a new V1 steering stabilizer fixed the problem. There could be a situation where the pulling goes away after it breaks-in though.
