I like the looks of the OEM steel bumpers and have them on my JLUR. That's where it ends. In hindsight I wish I had saved the money and gotten aftermarket. They are not that strong. I over tightened one of the end caps and dented it with the bolt. Then the cost of the bumpers and the need for a $200+ winch plate making them around $1500. Also the endcaps scratched the paint on the bumper on both sides. I'm not so worried about them being scratched, but the possibility of them rusting from that irritated me

Once again, I do like the look.

Do you have the rear Maximus-3 D-ring mounts? If so, any pics?

I've got the front ones too, but wanted to see what the back looks like on Ocean Blue.
No - don't have the ones on the rear. I don't do serious enough off-roading to need anything more than the giant hook I have in the hitch receiver!

LOL I think the hook is rated a little bit more than the hitch...

Honestly I don't need them either, just considering for extra protection if I do come down hard on the rear bumper. Also the symmetry satisfies my OCD.

LOL - you are correct. But I don't load the Rubi up much, so it in the hitch should be fine. OR - you could use one of these (altho it wouldn't satisfy OCD...).

I like that. Never seen one before with a wheel.

There's also this style:

I am getting a Smittybuilt front bumper for my JL. Sold my stock steel one with the fog lights‍♀ So now I need to figure out what aftermarket fog lights will work with the JL ... anyone have recommendations?

Same. I sold the factory steel bumpers and recovered some of my money. Installed LOD front and rear and have been extremely happy, though I still need to remount the hitch harness as it's just asking to get ripped off.

I bought a take-off OEM steel and I love it. I run it w/o the side pieces because I like the look. No rock crawling here in NJ. At least not for me. I think we are all about mud here.

Hmmm, probably should have kept those stock bumpers... I've never owned smittybuilt, aka shittybuilt, products simply because I have had so many fellow Jeepers express their disappointment in the quality of said products.

I sold off my stock steel front, kept the factory fogs and mounted a Rockhard Aluminum mid bumper saved maybe 75lbs, also gained the recovery eyes, never like the hooks and it also has the ability to add a tow bar attachment to the front of the bumper
