Day 27 still stuck in "I" status. Four weeks pending final inspection. Going to plan according to Jeep.

At this point I am beyond frustrated. Not to mention this is my second order due to an optioning issue with the dealer(Alpine and Infotainment Group Confusion). The first order has been delivered and the allocation given to a friend of mine. The second order is over a month late, and to my best guess on the verge of failing QC. The 30 day mark seems to be the Jeep death sentence in QC. When calling @JeepCares the answer is what is written on a script. Zero help. Zero effort. I have spent too much time on the phone running in circles. The last message i have received from the case manager is "looking to have your vehicle prioritized". I have tried contacting QC Team members through Linkedin to no avail. Has anyone had any luck getting hold of the factory direct?

I called today and learned that I was in "I" status on my JL Rubicon. The case specialist said that it usually takes around 10-15 days to get through "I". She indicated that some post-production installation happens during this stage (some accessories installed). If you have a PST or the rail system then there can be some additional delay through "I".

She said I have been in "I" for 5 days and that the shipping schedule shows a little over a week. Fingers crossed that I don't get held up here any longer...

I feel your pain. If it is any consolation, I called in today and they said my new build is going into the plant today and will be ready in 1 or 2 days. I Just received word Friday that my build was being cloned. Hoping for the best yet still skeptical.

I do think that we are very fortunate to have message boards like this. It’s cathartic that I am not the only one going through this as trivial as it may be. Hopefully Jeep will provide clarity and remedies for the issues at hand. In my searches I have notice they are hiring for positions in quality control which is a positive sign.

For those of you who are in the build process I would suggest that you not worry or escalate until the 14 day mark in “I” status. It does seem to be true as other have mentioned that there is a back log of vehicles needing minor repairs.

The factory put through a second order with the same specs and make sure that the clone keeps moving through production as does not sit in one specific status for too long. Please note that cloned orders do not get pushed to the back of the system - they are prioritized and shipped as quickly as possible. So the original build was tash after all.
i love this line "please note that cloned orders do not get pushed to the back of the system". one would hope that no orders get pushed to the back of the system, but apparently, this is a thing. should be a status code. sweetwater, your order has been pushed to the back of the system. status code FKD

i love this line "please note that cloned orders do not get pushed to the back of the system". one would hope that no orders get pushed to the back of the system, but apparently, this is a thing. should be a status code. sweetwater, your order has been pushed to the back of the system. status code FKD
They have a unique way to BS that's for sure. I just went to another dealer and found they have at least 8 Rubicons on the lot. My patience is wearing thin and I may go demand my money back on the order and head over to this other dealer. I could be in one a lot quicker. I may have to make an exception or two to what I ordered but it may be worth it.

Sorry to hear about that. I ordered on 3/2/18 and I'm sitting in queue on a vehicle mover, have been there for 5 days. Apparently, a Jeep can sit for 5 days on a vehicle mover queued for departure.

One item that made me feel better about my situation was to go on Jeep.com and build my jeep and try and find it. After searching for an hour, changing my zip code to all major areas and expanding the search radius, I found 1 jeep that was a 18/19 match for what I wanted. They also wanted a lot more than I am paying, for a color that was wrong, all other options being right.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation.

So sorry. It is very discouraging having to wait so long and have to start all over. My lease expires the beginning of July so I may pull the plug soon. Good luck
Called support line today. Jeep #2 build went fro 2 days out to two weeks. I pulled the plug on my order and luckily my dealer was stocking up for memorial weekend and had several rubicon’s in stock. Three Punk’n and some reds. A black with tan leather was just unloaded from the truck and I bought it road grime and all.

Thanks, I plan to wait until the end of June because I really want a Jeep so hopefully it will get here.

Or would you like to have a customer service rep do there absolute best to agrivate the situation ie suggest I was canceling the order. What’s that you say? Speak to a superisor? Not with @JeepCares. Don’t think I would go through all of this effort to cancel. Maybe the all elusive Nicole(only alleged factory jeep specialist) will respond after the nice long holiday weekend.

No inventory within 500 miles. 6spd, infotainment group, trailer tow, hardtop.

This is beyond unprofessional. Can’t get the vehicles out of the factory. Can’t get the vehicles to there destination. Some serious management issues need to be addressed.

I would check with your dealer and see if your vehicle was cloned and has a new vin#. My cloned vehicle is in JB so I passed inspection this time. :clap:

I would check with your dealer and see if your vehicle was cloned and has a new vin#. My cloned vehicle is in JB so I passed inspection this time. :clap:
Unfortunately my dealer is showing “I” still. I’ve known the fleet manager for about a decade, he’s also at a complete loss for words. Factory reps are also not providing a whole lot of feedback to the dealers. It seems it’s either the order is smooth sailing or a total disaster.
