Wow, sorry about your misadventure. Had to watch the MORR episode cause my son and I just did a camping / wheeling trip out to Canyonlands solo. Maybe not the best idea but I felt pretty well prepared - but not for a problem like yours. Hope you the new owner gets it figured out.
