Anyone know if they will be starting as schedule with the 2019? If so then it looks like we are 6 days away from the start.

I sure hope so, Monday, October 29th is supposed to be the day for start of production.

I was cautiously optimistic about that (as I ordered mine on Day 1 and got VON and VIN right away) but this posting from earlier today makes me nervous:

"Dear Austin:

I am writing with regards to your 2018 Jeep Wrangler Order!

According to our records; the build plan timing for your order has been updated to now reflect the week of October 29th. Please keep in mind as this timing is projected, it is subject to change.

I will continue to monitor your order & reach back out to you the week of November 5th with an update.

Sincerely,

Nicole

Did you order a 2019 or a 2018? The note from Jeep says 2018.

Did you sign up for updates from Jeep somehow? I ordered a 2019 back in September, but haven't heard anything from Jeep.

I was quoting someone else's note from Jeep.

I ordered a 2019. I haven't heard anything in a few weeks and the last I heard was shipping around 11/3.

My est. ship date is also 11/3, which i got from my dealer in early/mid October. However, I just got off a chat with a Jeep rep and they said production is schedule to begin in November. I don't know how accurate that is because I have gotten conflicting info before from different reps. I asked if he could give a more specific date and he said he couldn't.

Sounds like we are in the same situation. I figured that it would be November before they started building so I am not surprised. I really want to get my Jeep by Thanksgiving but that is feeling less and less likely.

I was hoping Thanksgiving or early December. I'm not sure that the odds are good. Hopefully an early Christmas present...maybe...fingers crossed. Come on Santa!

I think that there were a lot of us that ordered in the earliest batch (9/11-9/13). Hopefully we still have a chance of seeing them by Thanksgiving. But preparing myself for the likelihood that this won't happen.

My build is a basic color so that could help.

I'm guessing the Jeep website won't be updated with the 2019 Wrangler info until sometime after the Oct 29 production start date?
(even though ordering has been open for well over a month)

I didn't ask recently, but the last time I asked during a chat the rep didn't have an answer.

Hoping to have my 2019 JLUR by the end of the year. That may be wishful thinking though.

I just spoke with my dealer and the system they access still shows production starting 10/29. Hopefully their info is accurate. Every time I ask Jeep chat specific questions they suggest I contact my dealer. Hopefully this is one of those things that my dealer knows better than the chat people.

This may be nothing but I thought I saw one of the factory guys mentioned they cancelled tomorrow's shift. Since Monday is supposed to be the start date, that might be the line change over.
