Got this thing home today. Tomorrow starts the build.
Thanks to everyone who recommended to check the fuses. 80% of mine were not seated fully.
14 miles on the odometer. Full diesel and def.
Hell, this thing GOES!
Steering is softer than I’d like, but I’ve never had a wrangler before. I also plan on eventually putting in hydro assist and I’ve heard that tightens everything up.
A huge thank you to y’all for welcoming this late-comer to the thread.
I’ll definitely be cruising around this forum and be actively participating. If you’re interested in following my progress, I’m on Instagram and will eventually be on Revkit once I have enough mods installed.

Hey everyone. I hadn’t checked in in a while. The “Bikini Princess” is doing great. I added my local Jeep Club Sticker to each side Badge panel along with the 3.0 Diesel Badges I Scored on E-Bay. I’m at a little over 1500 miles now. No issues.

Finally took delivery last Friday. Spent the week installing an AEV 2.5 DualSport lift, TeraFlex wheels wrapped in Milestar Patagonia 37s, TeraFlex spare tire carrier, RSE rock slider power steps, Rough Country Pro series 9500S winch. Spent the day today doing the ultimate version of social distancing. 6 hours and 205 miles later, my wife and I are thrilled with our JLU diesel.

Did you need to add a Trackbar to align the axles after the AEV lift?

KINI has a little over 1,300 miles now and we took it down some fairly rutted trails fossil hunting. Ran fine. Got home and "Big Brother" sent me an email that stated "Immediate action needed - Your vehicle's charging system warning light recently indicated there may be a problem with the electrical charging system. Have your vehicle serviced at your dealership immediately."

Well immediately here is Monday.

I have no warning notices in my dash panel I can find. When I pull up the voltage meter in the dash panel it reads about 12.8 but does not go up with increased RPM's like any other vehicle I have owned. It actually goes up into the high 13's low 14's when I coast or brake???????? WTF

Somebody take a look at your panel volt meter and see what yours does please.

Runs around 14 to 14.8 when starting and charging. If you go long enough it goes to upper 12s. Never seen it vary with rpm increase.

Makes me wonder if "big brother" has me wasting my time Monday.

Doesn't mean it's not an intermittent problem. If something does go wrong and you didn't take it in they could make you pay to fix it since they sent you a warning.

Jim, FYI I received the same Email message once as well. Nothing ever showed up on the Evic display either. I realized I had left the dome light on from the night before and I assume the battery discharged enough to warrant the email.

I never took it to the dealer and have never received any additional emails or warnings. All has been fine with my rig since.

Mine acts just as yours on the Voltage readings.
I also got the E-mail.
I did however remember earlier that day forgetting to turnoff the Shutdown feature and I actually was lifting my foot off the brake as the engine was shutting down. It sputtered a little but NO issues.
It's like I double clutched the kill switch.
I really wish that would default to OFF.
Guess I'll have t look into a programmer.
Let me know what the visit says.

Thanks G-Dog. I bet that was the deal. When we stopped in the boonies while fossil hunting I fumble fingered the "ignition kill switch" and it stuttered off and back on. Maybe that did it. We did have the "start stop" override button pushed though. We are pretty good at remembering.

I'm still taking it in on Monday since I have the appointment. I bet this will be the first diesel they see. I will certainly be looking at the odometer on the drop off. I don't trust any dealerships.
