Well when I got the delivery pics from the dealer I melted and had to have it. Took delivery this afternoon. Here it is sitting in my driveway. Couple little minor defects to be addressed at a later date but overall just beautiful! Drives very nice. Steering seems to be ok but don't have a lot of experience with Jeeps. I wouldn't say it feels tight thats for sure. #yellowcanclub

Steering in a wrangler is a tricky balance...having a little laxity in it is nice on trail and keeping it tight is nice on the road. So far I’ve found my 3.0 to be a solid middle ground. Nice rig btw...glad you got what you wanted. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Welcome to the club!

thanks! Yeah its not awful by any means. Just an adjustment compared to my other vehicles. The motor is just right there anytime you need it. Not a lot of downshifting etc. It rides nicer than my truck for sure and many cars.

I have a friend planning on getting a diesel in Sarge green. Anyone hear that they are not building diesel’s anymore?

Got mine at the end of last month. Noticed it was leaking oil and only 600 miles. Dealership states it needs a new oil cooler. That is bad news. Really bad news is they are backordered until June 20. Not due but start shipping in over 2 months. Ordered on 11/15/19 and got a few weeks of use and now it will sit at dealer for a couple of months. Sucks when the dealer has your vehicle for a longer time than you.. LOL

That sucks a lot. Sorry to hear it man. Have you added it to the spreadsheet that @toolaide4fit put together?

No I was never on the order spreadsheet. I just lurked and learned a bunch from you guys. Guess dock workers driving my Jeep might have been a better choice. LOL

My Yellow Can Club sticker showed up in the mail the other day and I wanted to ask for an opinion about where folks are sticking them. I have a soft top, so rear window is out for me. My ORV stickers are on the bumper opposite of the license plate, but should have room there. I could also put near Eco Diesel logo. Any idea how these will hold up long term? I'm a little hesitant to put on the paint, so maybe bumper?

There’s a different spreadsheet for reliability issues that’s publicly editable. Has its own thread in this sub forum.

I have another spreadsheet tracking issue and problems that the diesels might be having...it is at this location...just click on it and it should send me a message to give you access, then you can add your information so if other diesel owners have the same problem then can go to this location and see if anyone else had the same issue and what was done to fix it.

That does suck! Did they at least give you another Jeep to drive in the mean time?

Requested access to spreadsheet...I think. They did give me a loaner. No Wranglers available so I took a Gladiator.
You're all set! I know it is disappointing not having your rig, but at least they know what is wrong and it isn't major. The waiting it the worst part.

On the bright side, how do you like the Gladiator?

Yes, it could certainly be worse. Used to waiting....Do I get to restart the time clock? LMAO..

Gladiator is pretty nice. Does not seem to ride as well as the JLURD In my opinion. Miss the larger interior space but throwing the mountain bike in the back this morning was pretty cool and easy.
