I've always wanted to pick up my new ride from the showroom. Pretty cool way to take delivery. Why was it in the showroom?
I told my dealer not to even take the plastic off, not to move it after it was parked from transport, no PDI.I've always wanted to pick up my new ride from the showroom. Pretty cool way to take delivery.
HeyThat's great. We are not tracking you in our spreadsheet...if you want to be included please send me a copy of your Vehicle Order Sheet and I will add you!
Day 12 at the body vendor...
Very sharp Jeep.Picked up the Firecracker red jeep today, The wait is hard but it was well worth it. I love the diesel in this Jeep.
Plant is shut down this week, I’ve confirmed that with my case manager. Should see more movement next week for sure.Hey
My order has been stuck in D1 for awhile, I signed up with you to track my order and when I checked it says no order information available.
Thoughts?
Just trying to help people understand some of the ones that appear ridiculous. Didn't say I agreed with the process. If the number on your profile picture is right they lied to you about the availability date. I am 230000ish and 5 days past my date and probably should have mine in the next month. Squeak all you want. What’s that got to do with it. They are coming off the same line ours is. First in first out. No special rules. If they want their own rules then get their own damn plant. I’m exactly 19 days past what I had agreed on when I bought the Jeep. Couple that with one that’s 90% of my order about 160 miles away in my color on a lot and all I can think is WTF??? It’s time to be the Squeaky wheel.
To put the soft to in the back...This is my first Jeep I will buy new, I wasn't born when my 55 was built. Why does a new Jeep have to go to a body vendor?
Mike confirmed the same to me.Plant is shut down this week, I’ve confirmed that with my case manager. Should see more movement next week for sure.
Oh and you know damn well if they did because there is plastic EVERYWHERE in/on those things during transport. Took me a while to get it all off.I told my dealer not to even take the plastic off, not to move it after it was parked from transport, no PDI.
We do a mega Roadtrip every other year for 6-7 months. We are on one now. Two years ago we drove through Florida and back home to Alaska. You could do it in 10 days of fairly hard core driving but you would not have fun smelling any roses along the way.WoW! ... a quick check on google maps says 4,700, to 5,700 from Bushnell to Anchorage.... one way....
All I can say is that would take me a long time to drive.....
? Has anyone here made a Florida/Alaska drive? .... how long did you spend doing it?
Does this improve my odds of my Jeep that was finely built last week actually leaving Toledo?Plant is shut down this week, I’ve confirmed that with my case manager. Should see more movement next week for sure.
