Wow, that was fast!
It feels like only a month ago that I ordered my JLUR diesel and it is already hear!
I guess my order was one of the last to be evacuated before the plant was closed.

Considering we are on lockdown I’ll have time to swap over the stuff from my 2018 to it.
My order date you may ask? 10/29/19 I was being a smart ass about it being fast!
at least it is finally hear, sorry for all the folks still waiting.

Glad you finally got it.... what engine is in you '18?; you can do a ride comparison..... and how do you like your roof rack? I'm still looking for a full cage type to carry kayaks...

That is an awesome looking jeep, very nice!..... I like the diesel too....

The ‘94 YJ is great. That little 4-banger kept on chugging. It was my daily driver for over a year. After her the JLU is like a Cadillac.

Long time JK owner here. For those of you that have owned the eco diesel for a little while now is it worth the wait? How much better is it over the pentastar? For those with a lifted jeep and larger tires how is it? Would love to drive one before I order, but most dealerships here are closed, so I wanted to ask while most of us are stuck at home. Thanks everyone.

I got notice from Craig from Koons about arrival of my order on 3/26 and I picked it up on Tuesday 3/31. Fully loaded Punk'n Rubicon Diesel except for the steel bumper package.

The original order date was 10/31/19. I am very happy it made it out before the factory lockdown.

James answered that question a while back. I believe he said his 3.0 turns his 37's better than his wife's Pentastar turns her 33's.

They said I should have it by next Saturday, 4/11/2020.

Ordered on 12/11/2019.

James answered that question a while back. I believe he said his 3.0 turns his 37's better than his wife's Pentastar turns her 33's.

I ran a 3.6 JLUR for 10,000 miles on both 33s and 35s. There is no comparison and that’s including a gear reduction from 4.10 to 3.73...3.0 is a vastly better experience at all speeds and with both tires. My 37s are not on for another couple weeks but there are folks like @Megatron JLU who have been running them with great experiences on stock gearing as well.
