I just joined this forum today. I ordered a 2020 Rubicon Diesel friday 2/21/20. The dealer told me 8-9 weeks. does that seem right or should I expect a really long wait.

January 25th. But that doesn’t matter. The same thing happened to me on my 2007 unlimited order with Yellow.

Yes, but that was also 13 years ago, things have “improved” since then. If you were able to put the order in then it shouldn’t be an issue. I could be wrong, but I would think you would be ok.

You probably won’t have to wait as long as those who ordered right away as things seem to have started to move finally. Just like when the 2 doors were ordered, us early adopters waited as long as 5 months to get orders, but once things started moving then those who ordered behind us didn’t wait nearly as long.

It says updated 2/11/20. SO i would assume since you got your order in well before that cut off yours will be good. There are other PunkN's in build process now. I wouldnt get spun up right away over it.

I hope i don't have to wait long. I have a 55 CJ3B that I put a 2.4 turbo Diesel in and it will be a nice addition to the collection.

I’m going on 11 weeks and it hasn’t been built yet. Lots of people even longer. This is not a quick process at all.
