I’m trying to decide to go with the basic leather seats from the dealer or go with cloth / upgrade to a custom Katzkin configuration. We are getting heated seats if that makes a difference.

I’ll be curious to read about opinions on each.
Thanks

I'm In the process of installing katzkin in my jeep right now. I have the two front seats done. I am super happy with the quality so far. I did notice that the heated seats don’t work as well as they did whith the cloth though. they had some wrinkles in the wings but a heat gun took them completely out.

It’s probably cheaper to go with factory leather. Oh one other thing with my katzkins is that I had them custom make my rear seat with vinyl on the back instead of carpet cuz I have a dog the sheds a lot.

I went with cloth and heated seats on 2 Wranglers, have other convertibles with leather, nothing like burning your arse when you have to park in the sun with top down, cloth works better in that case, some warned me and I followed their advice since I have the soft top one and sunrider on the other.

Some like leather for ease of cleaning and I can see that approach too.
