Monitoring the forums thus far I would say that brake pad squealing is a fairly common issue on the JLs.
Mine squealed like a banshee as well, even worse during winter.
Took it to the dealers and told me they were Functioning-as-Designed™
So I took it into my own hands to fix it by replacing them with Power Stop Z36 ceramic pads.
Did not fix the squealing, if not made it worse.
Now I drive around sounding like some cheapo beater car.

P.S. spraying liberal amount of lubricant on the brake pad hardware seem to temporarily squelch the squealing, but you risk over-spraying the rotors. Also it comes back after a car wash or two.

I have an appointment with the dealer Thursday morning. When I called to make the appt, they stated "with the semimetallic pads the government has us use now and the moisture, it's not uncommon for squeal." I commented that I understood that, but none of my other vehicles are having the issue, the Jeep is the only one doing it... With that, they said they would need to look at it again, so I setup the appointment.
Hi Shannon,
If you would like to be connected with a Case Specialist, we would be happy to do so. Please PM us if this is of interest.

I took the Jeep in this morning. They looked at the rotors and showed me everything looked normal. They stated the high metallic content of the brake pads often causes the squeal. However, they stated they didn't see anything wrong. They documented the issue in case of future problems.

Meanwhile on the way home I did a couple hard stops as suggested above. I will keep an eye on it and see how it does...

When they talk about lubricating hardware, they don't mean general purpose lubricants, as they won't last.
Anywhere the brake pads can move or vibrate can cause squealing. Did your pads come with stainless steel shims? When lubricating brake hardware nickle based anti-seize works well. There are also lubes designed just for disc brakes When first inspecting the brake pads look for red rust. That is probably where the noise is coming from.
Keep in mind that there is no one fix for life and you should service your brakes once a year to keep them trouble free.

EDIT: Corrected type of anti-seize

Was looking here for an answer to my squeaking brakes.
Less than 24k miles on my 2019 JLUR, dealer replaced the front pads due to glazing, taking away most of the squeak. However, the back brakes are squeaking as well. The dealer tech advice was that it would be due to wheels that do not allow enough air flow and stay hotter. Suggest I replace pads with ceramic if I don't want the squeak.

@JeepCares does this sound right? Running KMC FMJ spoke style wheel, not sure why it would stay hotter than others.

How many of you squeakers have done a bed in process on your pads?
I bet you will get a question to your question "what is bed in process"

It definitely is important :like:

I noticed the other day my Rubicon has squeaky rear brakes. I disassembled the rear brakes and noticed that on the inside pad there is a metal shim which makes contact with another metal shim on the brake pad which causes a squeak when braking! I applied Sil-Glyde to all the brake pad contact points including the metal shim and the squeak instantly went away!
