I am looking to buy my first Wrangler, and the rim choices I see on the wrangler sport-s build page do not appear desirable (to me.) I would like something darker and different size. I want to go from the stock 17x7.5 to a 17x8 or preferably 17x8.5. Can I do this without rubbing, lift/spacers, nor regear? Eventually I will want to get to the 3.5 with 35’s, but money… 😬 So, I was going to start with rims, then regear, then lift and tires. I just don’t want to run on ugly rims for a year while I gather more cash. Can I just slip on the 17x8 or 17x8.5 without adjustments or rubbing? Thank you in advance. 😄
