Sport & Rubicon grill interchangeable?

Hi All,
I know the Rubicon/Saraha grills come apart in several pieces, whereas the Sport grills are all one piece. My question is, will the Sport grill fit a Rubicon if I'm swapping out the entire grill? What is the purpose for the Rubicon and Saraha grills being different?

Yes you can swap grills between models. Sahara and Rubicon are the same other than the color of the trim rings which the Sport doesn’t have. You cannot add trim rings to a Sport grill other than the stick-on ones from Amazon and other places.

Sport is a molded 1 piece. Others have the 3 trim pieces
