If he really thinks FCA doesn't want to sell many, yes, he would be. Of course they do. I wouldn't be surprised if the 6.4 crate engine is less expensive to FCA than the 2.0 crate engine. My guess is they had to solve some of the cooling issues and crash safety with the diesel/gladiator, so that probably helped pave the way for this.He's completely full of shit.
Overall though, they won't let this reduce their CAFE #'s -- so they must have something else planned to offset it, because reduce it will.
