Looks are secondary in this case, it would be in lieu of cutting inner fender well as I am getting some rub as the standard wheel seems to have a positive offset to really keep the tires tight to body.

I personally don’t believe in spacers. I don’t care how well they are built they can be unsafe, and they extend the weight way too far out on the axles. Get the right wheels. I’m sure I will open up a can of worms saying this. Just my old man opinion.
Not to say I am for or against wheel spacers, but spacers and "the right wheels" both extend the weight out. Depends on how thick the spacers or how much back spacing "the right wheels" have, they could have the same effects, both positively and negatively.

spidertrax recommends red loctite and BORA says not to use loctite...I used Spidertrax on my JK's and never had an issue...I now use BORA's on my JLUR and never had an issue....
One argument is the wheel spacer lug nuts see the same clamping force and vibration as the wheel lug nuts. If you do not loctite the wheels, why would you loctite the spacers? I, too, ran bora for 5 years without loctite as instructed, never had I had any nuts came loose when I checked them while rotating tires.

What size tires in your pictures? I’m in the same boat. I put on a 2 1/2 inch lift - which turned out closer to 4 inches - and I’m still running 33” KO2’s with stock 17” wheels. I didn’t notice any rubbing issues before or after the lift. I want to go to a 35” tire but I have been holding off not knowing just what offset I want - Sahara specific. I don’t need another set of wheels in the garage so I will probably wear out these tires then try mounting 35” tires on the stock rims then see where to go from that.

I currently have 35x12.5r20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I bought it with the 35” on it. But can’t stand the 20” not to mention they are pinched to go in the bead as the stock High Altitude rims are 20x7 with +44 offset. I plan to to shift to the same size but got to a 17” method wheel Hence the original spacer question as a temp measure
