Southern California dealers with new steering gear box available?

Does anyone know of any Southern California dealers with the new steel steering gear box available or with a short lead time? My current dealer is telling me I’m number 6 on the list and they’re getting about one per month so he said lead time is looking like 6 months. I’d like to get it sooner if there are dealers that have it available or can get it quicker.

Try Glendale CDJR - took a week for them to get the parts for me. They got it right the first time too!

If you are in the greater San Diego area, you might try Poway CDJR...mine came in sooner than promised there, and the installation was very satisfactory.

I had to have my rear axle replaced twice due to the faulty sensor issue. The second time I asked the dealer if they would do the steering box update. Both times I got a service appointment within the same week and had the Jeep back in two days each time. Fishers in Yuma. Not too far from San Diego.

Just got a call from my dealership saying that FCA listed restrictions on ordering the steering box and they were able to order a bunch. I have an appointment scheduled for next week to do the swap! Not sure if these restrictions apply nationwide, hopefully yes.

I just got this TSB done at Rydell in San Fernando. All parts in stock, made an appointment Monday, dropped off Tuesday, picked up Wednesday. Good luck!
